Why the Client Experience with Toni Viola Photography Feels Different
Thoughtful Touches That Make Your Photo Session Magical
When you're searching for a photographer in Mt. Juliet, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. There are so many talented professionals out there so how do you know which one is the right fit for your family, your love story, or your newborn session?
For me, it’s not just about beautiful images (though you’ll get plenty of those). It’s about how you feel throughout the entire experience. From your first inquiry to the moment you download your gallery and think, “Wow. These photos really show the real us.”
As Mt. Juliet’s Best Photographer in the 2025 Main Street Awards, I’ve had the joy of working with families, couples, and new parents across our community. And what I hear most often from clients after a session is something like this:
“That was so much easier than I thought it would be.”
“I didn’t feel awkward and it was so much more fun that I expected.”
“I feel like you captured the real us.”
And you know what? That’s not an accident. That’s by design and on purpose.
Here are just a few of the ways I intentionally create a client experience that feels thoughtful, stress-free, and unforgettable—before, during, and after your session.
1. Personal, Quick, and Clear Communication from Day One
From the moment you reach out, I want you to feel like things are taken care of and you don’t have to worry. I respond quickly to inquiries (often the same day), and I don’t leave you wondering about next steps. Whether we’re planning a full Keepsake Collection session or a custom package that combines senior portraits and family photos, I’m with you every step of the way—offering ideas, answering questions, and making the planning process simple.
2. A Pre-Session “Welcome” Note to Build Excitement
A couple of days before your session, I like to send an encouraging email letting you know I’m just as excited as you are. Whether it’s a maternity session, couples shoot, or a first birthday milestone, I want you to know how much this matters to me—and remind you that all you have to do is show up and love on your people. I’ll take care of the rest.
3. A Grounding Moment to Help You Soak It All In
Before we take the first photo, I guide every family or couple through a simple grounding moment—usually just a deep breath with eyes closed and a quiet reflection on who you’re standing next to. What do you love about them? What makes this season worth remembering?
This moment shifts the energy. It invites calm, connection, and presence—so you’re not just rushing to the session and smiling at the camera, you’re truly feeling the moment.
4. Sessions That Are Relaxed, Guided, and Real
Many of my clients tell me they’re nervous in front of the camera, or they worry their kids won’t cooperate. I get it (and understand as a mama myself!) and I’ve built my sessions to be flexible, playful, and calm. I’ll guide you through gentle prompts, but I also leave room for real laughs, windblown hair, toddler snacks, and quiet moments between you and the people you love.
Your job is to be together. My job is to capture it honestly and beautifully.
5. A Carefully Curated Gallery with Options That Work for You
After your session, you’ll receive a private online gallery with beautifully edited images (usually 75+) watermarked for preview. You’ll be able to choose your favorite images to download based on your package, and if you fall in love with the whole gallery (you probably will!), you’ll always have the option to upgrade and download every single photo.
No surprises. No complicated print packages. Just photos you’ll be excited to frame, share, and keep forever.
6. Thoughtful Extras Just for You
This is where the magic really happens. I’m always looking for ways to surprise and delight my clients. That might look something like:
A handwritten thank-you card and photo magnet with a favorite image
A sneak peek photo within 24–48 hours of your session
A special mini session giveaway just for past clients
A free image upgrade if your toddler brought their full personality that day 😉
These little touches are how I say: I see you. I appreciate you. And I’m honored to document your story.
7. A Relationship That Doesn’t End at the Gallery Link
To me, you’re not just “another client.” I want to be your go-to photographer for every season… whether that’s maternity now, newborn next, or family photos every fall as your kids grow up way too fast.
That’s why I keep in touch with helpful updates, early access to mini sessions, and notes just to say “I’m cheering you on.” My business has grown through referrals and kind words from people like you—and I never take that for granted.
